Reshma Goud

Research Associate

She will always have more sunset pictures than lab data. Reshma graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Neurobiology. During her time at NC State, she explored viral interactions between begomo viruses and Tomato Lanai. Seeking a deeper understanding of biomedical research, Reshma transitioned to the Katwa Lab at the Brody School of Medicine, where she investigated the effects of dopamine receptor antagonists and agonists on cardiac fibroblasts. Eager to further her exploration in biomedical research and interested in the use of biomaterials in wound healing, Reshma is excited to join the Segura Lab and work with Dr. Holly Lewis on the “Cultivating Tolerance” project. When she’s not in the lab, you can find her trying out new boba spots, going on runs, or planning her next travel adventure!
