Nhi Phan, MEng

PhD Candidate

The best things in life come in small packages. Nhi attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she received her B.S. and M.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering before joining the Segura Lab in 2020. Prior to Duke, she has worked in research labs at NIST and MIT on topics ranging from translational gastrointestinal drug delivery to hyperspectral medical imaging. Now a Ph.D. student, she hopes to study and expand the Segura Lab’s MAP technology for angiogenic applications. Her life outside of lab is often spent in used bookstores, traveling, or baking.
