Moony Ming

Masters Student

Where there are footsteps, there is a path…Moony graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, in 2024 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering and subsequently embarked on a journey further to explore the world of biomedical engineering at Duke University. During her undergraduate studies, her experience in Dr. Steven Cui’s lab sparked her first fascination with biomaterials, while her 2023 visiting study period at the University of California, Berkeley, guided her to pursue advanced studies in the United States. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Moony is deeply interested in exploring the application of biomaterials in skin repair and regeneration in the Segura lab. Outside of the lab and classroom, you might also spot Moony at K-pop concert venues—one of her many vibrant passions.
