Noah Campbell

PhD Student

With so many possibilities, how could he ever decide on one single opening line? Noah graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in May of 2024 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Chemistry & Biochemistry. His scientific journey began studying behavioral neurobiology in Dr. Elliot Albers’ lab at Georgia State University, focused on the hormonal determinants of social behavior between sexes. Recognizing a growing interest in biomedical engineering, Noah shifted gears to pursue new research in Dr. Gabe Kwong’s Laboratory for Synthetic Immunology, where he worked to develop and optimize tunable genetic circuitry for CAR-T cell therapy and manufacturing. Now, looking towards his graduate research career, Noah is thrilled to find a home in the Segura lab, where he looks forward to merging his two previous interests – brain characterization & cell based therapeutics – by utilizing customized MAP hydrogels in stroke recovery. Outside of lab, Noah’s hobbies are eclectic and varied, but he can typically be found running, climbing, video editing, volunteering in the community, or just longboarding around campus.
